About John Walker

John Walker is a Director of Guest Walker and the Head of the Commercial Property Department.  He is also a Director of the Guest Walker Employee Engagement Trust.

John has been working as a solicitor in York for almost forty years.  He has extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of the commercial property market both in York and across the North of England and a huge number of contacts.

He can give advice on many legal areas but has always loved pubs in particular and has a wide knowledge of the licensed trade sector.  This includes advising clients on the 2016 Pubs Code and MRO free of tie leases and dealing with licencing applications.  John is an Accredited Adviser of the British Institute of Innkeeping.
