The government has announced that business tenants who can’t pay their rent because of coronavirus will be protected from eviction for the next 3 months. However it appears that this is being interpreted by some as ANY tenant in the absence of any real guidance to the contrary and successful businesses who are still trading profitably are jumping onto this band wagon and refusing to pay their rent in full.
