York has looked so different this last year as the operators of pubs, cafes and restaurants have made use of the new temporary pavement cafe licences and put tables and chairs out on to the streets and pavements of the city. The good news for these traders is that the scheme has been extended to the end of September 2022 but ONLY if they apply for an extension of these licences by next Thursday October 7th – so, if this applies to you, do something now!
