STEP member: what is it and what are the benefits?

We are proud to announce that Director and Head of the Life Planning team, Rowena Rogers, has recently renewed her STEP membership.  Rowena has been a STEP member for more than 12 years, having been a qualified TEP since October 2009.

What is STEP?

The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners or STEP is a respected global organisation of professionals including lawyers, accountants and financial advisors who help families to manage their assets and plan for their futures.  Members of STEP are recognised experts in the field of Wills, Trusts, Probate and Powers of Attorney with proven qualifications and experience.  To qualify as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), members have to pass exams, submit essays or show a level of seniority and experience in practice.

What are the benefits?

If you are dealing with someone with TEP after their name you know that they have worked hard to become a member and signed up to the high standards expected by STEP for maintaining their specialist knowledge and skills and looking after their clients.
