With spring upon us it’s hard not to notice the true beauty of York and its surroundings during this season of new beginnings.
Speaking of new beginnings, as one of the newest members of the team here at Guest Walker things have really changed quite a bit in the past few months. Both myself and another colleague started in the commercial property department in the new year and we have both been working hard whilst familiarising ourselves with our new surroundings.
Having come from an international firm in Leeds, life in York is very different! I have always found York an appealing destination (mostly for food, shopping and touristy things) but I have noticed that the place has a real charm to it which makes it one of the most popular cities to visit in the UK. Aside from the quirky buildings and the mischievous geese (who terrorise some of the locals or just generally like to stop rush hour traffic!) there is a law firm just situated around midway down the Shambles which is creating a real buzz. On joining the firm I was aware of its reputation in York for being a long standing, trusted and personal law firm who its clients can really trust and work with. In particular, the commercial property team has grown significantly recently, consisting of a team individuals with broad expertise as well as experience and I am excited to be part of this growing team.
