Grief Awareness Week

Grief Awareness Week takes place from 2 – 8th December 2023 this year, organised by The Good Grief Trust. It’s aim is to raise awareness of the impact of grief and loss, and to highlight the range of services available across the UK to support those who have lost loved ones, and those who are supporting the bereaved.

Grief takes many different forms, and the type of support needed will vary for each individual. The Good Grief Trust, run by the bereaved for the bereaved, brings together over 900 bereavement services nationwide, signposting where further help can be found as well as providing a wealth of practical advice and support through it’s website and helplines.

This year’s campaign has the theme ‘Better Together’, encouraging people to connect with services in their local communities to help them find the support they need.
