The Government has announced that as from 0:01am Saturday 17th October, York will move into Tier 2 (High alert). What does this mean for moving home in our area?
You will still be able to move home whilst in Tier 2. All the necessary companies involved in the move such as estate agents, removal firms and solicitors can continue to work. People can also continue to look at potential properties.
The move and viewings must however comply with national guidance on moving safely which includes advice on social distancing and wearing a face covering. A link to the national government guidance can be found here
