Licensed Gaming/Gambling

Licensed Gaming/Gambling

The Gambling Act 2005 (which came into force in 2007) provided new powers and protections for gambling and brought in fresh enforcement powers and controls for operators.  It also set out three clear objectives in this field – to keep crime out of gambling, ensure that gambling is conducted openly and fairly and protect children/vulnerable people from being exploited or harmed by gambling.

This area of the law is a minefield of complexities and our advice/assistance will help you to negotiate it safely – whether we’re talking about amusement arcades, betting, bingo halls, lotteries, night clubs, interactive gaming, casinos or other licensed premises.  We have a wealth of experience in these areas and advise major operators in the family entertainment and adult gaming sectors in relation to all their gaming needs – whether it’s a fresh application for an Operator’s Licence or dealing with a regulatory breach.

Just call John Walker for a chat.  He’ll be happy to discuss your requirements without charge and then agree a definite fee structure to suit you if you do need our help.
